Of particular interest is the continuing tradition of Adult Training, one aspect of which is the handing down of The Mummers Play from the distant past and continues rather differently with the success stories of sons of the village described by Charles Metcalfe, the provision of the village library, the work of W.P. Baker, to the present day.
